It's Our Game
Great commercial, Canada. I'm pulling for you. The greatest hockey players in the world grow up in Canada and eventually leave for a higher payday. Once every four years they play for you, however. This is your time to shine and show the world what you're all about. It is indeed your game. Thanks for sharing it with your greedy brothers to the south.

Welp, L.C., I gotta disagree. Hockey is usually all about Canada, The Rooskies, The Swedes, The Czechs, etc. The Uncle Sams are always the under dog. Right now they are leading the Canucks 2-1 after the first. Shots on goal are about 3-1 C. Gimme those guys fightin with a lead under those circumstances anytime. USA, USA.....
ReplyDeleteL.C., It's time for you to fugget about that NHL sentamentality during these Olympic Hockey games. This ain't the pens vs the Thrashers. This is time for another USA MIRACLE with a 30 year return period! USA 5, Canada 3! So, get up off of that thing and yell to the top of yr lungs, USA, USA. Even Ms 653 is catching the fever. Fugget about the Canada Hockey team RE: THE FINALS. They gotta win four straight games just to get there. Ain't gonna happen... Woo Hooooooooo!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou know, Mr. 653, I really didn't know who to root for last night. Crosby is my boy, but my heart was telling me to root for the USA. That sure was a fun game. The last 10 minutes were outstanding. I was sure Canada was going to tie it up late. And the USA's open net goal was one of the best I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to watching more. Still not sure who I want to win, though!
