The State Capitol Complex

Today we took the Little Olive for a walk around the West Virginia State Capitol Complex. It was such a pretty night we figured, "what the heck." As you can see, she was all smiles...

This picture was taken from the rear of the complex. I found a cool new app on the iPhone that takes panoramic photographs.

Pretty cool, right?

The Little Olive loved the water fountains!

There were lots of fountains so she was very entertained.

She had a blast.

Here's another panoramic... this time of the front of the complex.

Here's about the cutest picture in the world...

Mommy preachin' some State Capitol knowledge to the Little Olive...

Maybe this is what she was telling her...

Make up your mind, West Virginia... Wheeling or Charleston? I think we've settled on Charleston.

I wonder what Honest Abe thinks?

Mr. Lincoln faces the Kanawha River and this is his view...

That's Kanawha City. On the right is the University of Charleston. That neighborhood is a great place to bike... if you can keep an eye out for squirrels. They're jerks.

Anyway, we had a great time. It took the Little Olive awhile to get settled and put to bed after the trip. She was wound up! It was worth it, though. She gained some serious knowledge of her hometown and state capitol. :)
